Park City Area Restaurant Association members are preparing Labor Day weekend and September specials, including festive cookouts, the Este Pizza Box Concert Series, the return of the Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival and a variety of mid-week specials.

“Summer has simply flown by, but our dining community is embracing the changing seasons with weekday specials, al fresco dining with live music, and plenty of excuses to continue to support your favorite restaurant or dare to try something new,” said Ginger Wicks, executive director for the association. “Cheers to a restful Labor Day weekend and the autumn season ahead. What a delicious summer it’s been.”

Goldener Hirsch Inn at Deer Valley

Labor Day Weekend Cookout

Sunday, Sept. 1 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Festive celebration featuring live music on the patio. Executive Chef Senthil has curated a prix-fixe menu featuring smoked meats and barbecue favorites with a modern Bavarian twist. $75 for adults, $35 for kids 12 and under. Reservations availablehere.

Escala Provisions Company at Hyatt Centric Park City

Monday, Sept. 2

Features a Labor Day Burger and Draft Beer Special, including a Double Smash Brisket Burger with cheese, Centric special sauce, caramelized onions, sliced tomato, and romaine on a Stone Ground Bakery ciabatta bun, paired with any draft for the apt price of $17.76.

High Altitude Baking: Devil’s Food Cake

Sunday, Sept. 1 | 3:30-5 p.m.

Learn the techniques and adjustments necessary to conquer the challenges of baking at altitude. Expert instructors will guide you through the process of making Devil Food Cake. Session takes place at the Deer Valley Plaza Building.

Mountain Brews & Tunes

Saturdays through Sept. 7 | Noon-2:30 p.m.

Ride up Sterling Express chairlift for afternoon celebrations atop Deer Valley’s Bald Mountain at Snowshoe Tommy’s. Enjoy a variety of beer partners, live entertainment, take-away fare with à la carte pricing and mountaintop views. An all-area, full-day scenic or bike lift ticket is required to ride the Sterling Express chairlift to access the event.

Live Music at Silver Lake

Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 8

Features live music on the Silver Lake lawn alongside food trucks, local brews, hiking trails and family-friendly fun.

Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival

Saturday, Sept. 14, and Sunday, Sept. 15 | Noon-5 p.m.

This beer festival includes chairlift access throughout the resort, outdoor dining, live music, and family-friendly activities. Please note that the venue can only be accessed by a chairlift ride on Silver Lake Express, and all parking and check in will be at Snow Park Lodge. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample beer flavors and styles, including full-strength selections. Tickets on sale now.

Este Pizza Box Concert Series

Fridays and Saturdays | 6-9 p.m.

The family-friendly Este Pizza Box Concert Series features seasonal pizza specials, including the peach pizza, vegan and gluten-free options, as well as a variety of local musicians on the patio. In case of inclement weather, music will continue indoors. The series will run every Friday and Saturday through September.

Flanagan’s on Main

Enjoy Thursday Locals Night in the basem*nt, darts, shuffleboard, food and drinks specials. Friday night DJ sets begin at 9 p.m., and Saturday night karaoke kicks off at 9 p.m. weekly.

Mondays-Thursdays

Features three-course lunch specials for $20. Menus change daily, including the H and H Burger (Mondays), Tacos (Tuesdays), Hot Chicken Sandwich (Wednesdays), and Roasted Chicken Sandwich (Thursdays). Each special begins with a starter and ends with a Hill’s Kitchen Cookie.

LOMA

Dinner Nightly | 4 p.m.

Brunch Saturdays and Sundays | 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Co-owners Adam and Meisha Ross of Twisted Fern welcome guests to LOMA, a new modern Italian restaurant on Lower Main Street. The “casual, upscale” eatery features house-made pasta, seasonal specials and wood-fired pizzas, among other Italian favorites, with a Mediterranean influence. Weekend brunch includes Italian eggs, fried saganaki and egg sando, breakfast gyro, bananas foster bread pudding french toast and Turkish breakfast for two. Reservations available on Open Table.

Saturday, Sept. 21 | 2-5 p.m.

Palomino Weekend Brunch

Saturdays and Sundays | 11:30 a.m.

Drink specials include mimosa platters, Bloody Mary boards and a watermelon margarita, alongside brunch selections of buttermilk biscuits with house-made sausage gravy, lobster crackers featuring Maine lobster salad and fried saltines, eggs benedict, brioche French toast and a variety of savory sliders.

Stein Eriksen Lodge Sunday Brunch

Classics Menu

Tupelo will be reintroducing three Tupelo Classics to their menu each week this season. These first specials will also feature at the association’s James Beard Foundation Events in NYC later this month:

  • Compressed Green River melon, pickled rind, Gold Creek feta, basil, mint
  • Spiced Utah elk carpaccio, cold smoked heirloom tomatoes, miso, pumpernickel, benne seeds
  • “Beef & Barley” (entree), Mishima Farms wagyu strip, braised cheeks, roasted garlic, swiss chard

James Beard Foundation Events at NYC’s Platform

Thursday, Sept. 26, through Sunday, Sept. 29

Tickets are available now for exclusive dining events at Platform by the James Beard Foundation in New York City. Brunch, lunch, dinner and co*cktail events will feature Riverhorse Executive Chef Seth Adams, Alpine Distilling Master Distiller Sara Sergent, High West Executive Chef Michael Showers, Courchevel Bistro Executive Chef Clement Gelas, tupelo Executive Chef Matthew Harris, and Stein Eriksen Lodge Vice President of Food & Beverage Operations, Corporate Chef Zane Holmquist.
